Help with the Vein app and your Vein.

Email vein@fastmail.com and a person will answer, usually within one business day. Tell us your Vein's name (the part before .vein.chat) and what you were doing when it went wrong.

Creating your Vein

Open the app and choose Create your Vein: pick a name, a password and enter your invite code. Your Vein takes about 15 minutes to build. You can leave the app open or come back to it; it picks up where it left off. If the build fails, your invite code works again: start once more, or email us.

Connecting your accounts

After sign-up, Vein opens on Connect. Choose a network and follow its steps. Some networks connect from a browser instead: open your Vein's address (yourname.vein.chat) in any browser, sign in with the same name and password, and connect them there. Their chats then show in the app.

Trial and billing

Every hosted Vein starts with a 30-day free trial. After that, Vein is $19 a month, plus $3 a month if you add a home IP. Subscribe and manage billing from Settings, Accounts, Your Vein plan. Payments are handled by Stripe.

Deleting your Vein

In the app: Settings, Accounts, Delete my Vein. Your Vein stops at once and is permanently deleted, with everything on it, 7 days later. Email us within those 7 days to undo it. Cancel a paid plan from Manage billing too. No app? See Delete your Vein.
